A big thank you to Mark Godfrey and his
team for working in the snow to clean up tree limbs after the
first snow storm of the year!!
FALL PLANTING
The last phase of fall planting is
being completed. Beaumont Place is beginning to like more
and more like the "Secret Haven" we have
envisioned. Thank you to all who planted flowers and added
to the beauty of Beaumont this spring and summer!!
DID YOU KNOW...
There is an income tax credit for homeowners who purchase
qualified water heaters and furnaces? It is an Energy
Credit that the federal government is issuing. More than a
rebate, it is a full deduction from your income. Check
with your local retailer on what appliances qualify and how to
obtain the credit. Weehaa!!!!
If you have outdoor maintenance issues, please
call Mgt. Resources immediately! Communicate your
ideas and questions to Barbara Friess (not Board members) at
Management Resources. This is your community so join the
Board every third Thursday (except for August, November and
December) at Dayton Green Clubhouse, 6 p.m.
What's that noise? On the roof?
Is it Santa? His reindeer? In October !! No,
no no...it's just the guys cleaning the gutters! All those
falling leaves think they're being so clever hiding out in the
gutters, so who do we call? Gutter-Busters!!! So, if
you hear footsteps first thing in the morning, don't
panic. Santa's going to be in his workshop for
another two months!!!
HOLIDAY DECORATIONS
Boo!! Thanks you!!! Ho Ho Ho!!! Oh,
the joys of the Holidays!! When I was little, I cared a
pumpkin and put it in the window for Halloween. On
Thanksgiving, I stuffed a cornucopia with fruits and veggies and
placed it on the front patios! And at Christmas, I helped
my dad hang lights!! Things have changed since
then!! Now, we have goblins and turkeys and 10-feet tall,
air-filled Santas!! It's great!!! It's all
great!!! But only for two weeks before and two weeks
after the actual holiday. (Beaumont regulations).
Please be careful when hanging outside decorations; nails can
damage wood and paint. No decorations allowed on the roof.
Have a safe (and scary!!) holiday season!!
SNOW REMOVAL
When there is a snowfall through-out the night, the snow
plows and shovellers are here early to clear driveways and
sidewalks. With each snow, they alternate which side of
the property they clear first. if you garage door is
frozen shut or there is ice that is causing a hazard, please
call Mgt. Resources and let them know.
ENERGY SAVING HINTS:
Replace windows/patio doors that have broken
seals. Replace (or have inspected) furnace and water
heaters. Take showers rather than baths! Install
low-flow toilets. Check out ht Department o Energy's web
site for more ideas on how to save energy. And money!! |
